Kenneth Morris - Photographer
Ken Morris: I'm an avid professional photographer residing in Underhill, Vermont and a member of several Photo Groups in the Burlington, Vermont area.
My formal training consists of a few classes at an early age in landscape and portrait oil painting, some photographic darkroom experience and a life longlong passion for the photographic arts.
My goal is to elicit in the viewer an emotional connection to the image that I had when creating my work.
I like to try different approaches to marketing photography and have gone from cutting my own mats, making my own frames from hardwoods like walnut, to printing "Gallery Wrap" on canvas and building my own canvas stretcher frames. I print my own images using Epson PIGMENT ink (most inkjet printers use dye ink) on Epson or Red River archival paper and canvas.
